R. Lakshmi Narayan博士在Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore于2014年获得博士学位，随后到国际著名材料科学家Prof Subra Suresh课题组做博士后。从事Mechanical behavior of Bulk Metallic Glasses and their composites, Mechanical behavior at multiple length scales, Structural and functional materials, Fracture,Nanoindentation, Microindentation, X-ray Tomography, Finite element method。近年来，在国际学术期刊上发表论文10余篇。
