杨继辉教授简介:
Prof. Jihui Yang obtained his B.S. degree in physics at Fudan University in 1989, and received his Ph.D. degree in physics from University of Michigan in 2000. Dr. Jihui Yang joins Materials Science and Engineering from the Electrochemical Energy Research Laboratory at the General Motors R&D Center, where he was lab group manager and GM Technical Fellow. He is currently a Kyocera Professor in Materials Science and Engineering at University of Washington.
Prof. Yang’s research focuses on materials for energy storage and conversion. He works with novel materials for high efficiency thermoelectric energy conversion to design and implement the next generation automotive thermoelectric generator, and on advanced battery electrode materials. In the past five years he has authored or co-authored 34 papers with nearly 1000 citations and three book chapters; presented 41 invited talks at the Materials Research Society, American Physical Society, International Conference on Thermoelectrics, MS&T, NSF workshops, universities, national labs, government agencies, industries, and other international conferences; and has been granted eight patents. Prof. Yang was a participant in the National Academy of Engineering U.S. Frontiers of Engineering Symposium, and has received the US Department of Energy Innovative and Novel Computational Impact on Theory and Experiment (INCITE) award, and the John M. Campbell Award for outstanding contributions to pure or applied science. Now he is the president of International Thermoelectric Society (2012-2014).
